Home Academy Module 25 — Thinking as two
Module 25 · Tribu · 7 min

Share your financial life, without sharing your secrets.

The Tribu is Ozorys's answer to a delicate question: how do you manage money with others without anyone losing their privacy? A common space, and vaults that stay private.

The sharing dilemma

Managing money with others seems doomed to a losing choice: pool everything — and expose yourself entirely to the others' gaze — or keep everything separate, and give up on any coordination at all. Joint account versus every man for himself: two dead ends.

Ozorys refuses that false choice. The Tribu opens a third way: sharing precisely what you want to share, and nothing else.

The third way

Neither total merger nor sterile compartmentalisation: the Tribu shares what's common and protects what's private. You coordinate without watching each other.

The Tribu: a space, not a merger

The Tribu isn't a single vault where everything mixes: it's a shared space, devoted to common matters, coexisting with each person's private vault. What you put into the common space is visible to members; the rest remains yours alone.

That distinction is foundational: it allows a financial life with others without dissolving the individual into the group.

Zero-Knowledge, even with others

Sharing never loosens the security. What moves within the Tribu stays encrypted; neither Ozorys nor any outsider can read it. And your private vault stays sealed, even to the other members of your own Tribu.

Sharing with others without ever exposing a single piece of data: that's the promise, kept right into group life.

The right marker

In a Tribu, always ask yourself: is this in the common space, or in my private vault? That clear border is the key to calm sharing.

For whom, for what

Couples without a joint account, families, flatmates, households separated by distance: wherever several people have shared expenses while keeping their independence, the Tribu applies. The life-situation paths show its uses; this path reveals its mechanics.

Understanding how the Tribu works means being able to adapt it to your set-up, whatever it is.

Today's challenge

Spot, in your own life, one expense that would gain from being shared (rent, groceries, a project) and one that must stay private. You already hold the logic of a well-designed Tribu.
